I only tried this as I remembered someone on the list saying that anything that looked good at 100% on screen would print well. >> Dear Ian Although there are special settings for special printers 72 dpi is generally considered a screen/web resolution and not a print resolution. 300dpi is considered the standard for print files. (or 120dpcm). That means if you want a print 10 inches square it will be 3000 x 3000 dpi. Ten inches square at 72dpi is only 720x720. I wouldn't rely on the person who said that anything that looked good at 100% on screen would print well. Depends on the print process. I have done tests which show this not to be so.
