  IMHO ... I would stay with your normal practice with respect to some
additional considerations.  For example, is the negative worthy (focus,
grain, etc) of a final res of 300ppi?  If the client is specifically
considering 5 feet distance (as if you cannot get closer), then you can
consider lower es and a smaller file size, ... but I daresay most of us will
be increasingly impressed if we can walk up to a print and see additional
detail.
