Yes DiskWarrior is the only way for disk repair with OS X. Macaroni also
repairs permissions when necessary. My computer runs so much better since I
used Macaroni regularly and the great part is that it works in auto pilot so
for $8 I'd say its a great investment. Running DiskWarrior once every couple
of weeks as a sort of preventative medicine keeps things running smoothly.
