Nick, FWIW I love my Canon S9000. On the other hand, if you are set on Epson, perhaps the 2100 may be a better bet? Much more expensive, but the life from pigment ink is unbeatable when selling prints... Nick WB.

I am curious about the Canon 9000. Every so often someone will post that it's an excellent printer and fast, and indeed someone very kindly offered to send me a test print...which has never arrived.
Can you please give an appraisal of this printer and tell us how the prints compare to the best that Epsons can manage. I have heard it said that there is a very limited range of papers one can use.
