Haven't had any banding as yet - fingers crossed - i suppose it's just not an issue with the bubble jet > Am I > right in thinking that the nozzles are easily and cheaply user changed? Yeah, i think so - when you first get it out of the box, you have to clip the head into place, so i imagine that you can just get a new head and replace the old one if necessary.
