Maybe this has been covered but I can't see it in archives - and it won't affect digitally recorded images - but for anyone out there who still uses film prior to scanning it (to keep it on topic...)

With my Virgin Atlantic tickets that arrived today comes a sheet about baggage screening at US airports. Due to the US Aviation Security Act all checked baggage at US airports is screened by 'Explosive Trace Detection', some sort of catscan technology. For the first time I can remember it is stated:

"Equipment used for screening checked baggage <will> damage your undeveloped film".
