They're selling LaCie Big Disks at prices which must be incorrect. These prices are listed (including VAT) yet the prices are lower than the list price or the cheapest online retailer dabs.com, incredible.
The 500Gb disk FW800 is actually cheaper than the 500Gb FW400 I bought from dabs, just a couple of weeks ago and is still listed at the same price. Get in there quick. I'm tempted to buy the 500Gb model for the sheer hell of it. Unfortunately they don't have the 320Gb version which was what I was really after, for my off-site backup. The 500gb works out at �1.10/Gb, which is a bargain.
