If you are having repro problems, don't give them adobe 1998 files just convert tham all to srgb. This normally solves most problems as they are not colour savvy and use the default settings on their computers which is srgb and don't convert when stuff is imported into photoshop.

Dear Ian/List

I am reminded of the old saying that you can take a horse to water but you cannot make him drink!

I cannot for the life of me understand why some of you are so willing to support these businesses who cannot/ wont get their colour act together. If you politely said no thanks, I will place the business with a colour savvy lab/printers or whatever.

Firstly you have delivered one of the most compelling reason for change and secondly you are supporting the businesses that do care....businesses more in tune with yours!

It really beats me why it is that photographers with far smaller resources than many colour labs and printers manage to get their colour act together, whilst so many others in the business of producing images cannot be bothered.

Cheers

Richard
