Jim If you are producing loads of prints & having difficulty in getting labs to produce anything half decent then what about getting a Pictrography? It was Loxley that was the final straw in us getting one. I thought that digital would provide us the greater conrol & quality we wanted though a job we ran through Loxley ( hundreds of A4's) resulted in colour differences throughout the runs, scan lines of the LED on print, out of focus prints and late delivery to top it all. Not something I would have expected with digital.
I know Pictro prints are relatively expensive, though the frustration of not having work produced badly and late is compensation enough. We had our Pictro profiled and its excellent. Just a thought... -- Regards Jason T:01252 333159 F:01252 655159 I:01252 333159 www.jasonbutcher.co.uk > > With this very much in my mind at the moment (as I am tearing what > little hair I have out trying to get consistent prints from printers) > does anyone recommend any printers that are colour managed and savvy to > the needs of photographers?
