I seem to remember not so long ago reading an article of the grief
someone got for trying to photography different aspects of the
Docklands. This apparently is all private land and you have hard job
trying to get any shots in around the area. The laughable thing is the
extreme length they will go to make life as difficult as they can for
people

Dear Ian,

I heard that it wasn't actually all private. It might be interesting to
get in touch with the local highways department and find out which areas
are public highways. Then just stand on those, go with the up to date
diagrams which the highways department have to supply.

It should be a right laugh, 50 photographers against 10 security guards.

cheers

Ian Reynolds
