Dear list,

Just a 35mm it8 calibration target from coloraid.de. Cheaper and
supposed to be more consistent than Kodak's.

The idea was to use it to calibrate my elite 5400 in vuescan to get more
accurate scans. However vuescan is not working that well with the
scanner at the moment, so that's in development with ed.

In the meantime, if I use Minoltas software and turn auto expose off, if
I make a colour correction using the droppers in the scanning software,
so set midtone, high light and black point on the grey scale stripes at
the bottom. If I apply that globally, will I be close to the mark !!.

Any suggestions to cover the meantime.

cheers

Ian Reynolds
