I think that this topic is getting well beyond the interest of how it
started out... however.

90 deg rotating either clockwise or anti-clockwise is a mathematical matrix
(1,0), (0,1). It is by it's very definition non-degrading (read multiply by
one).


So all software that rotates by 90 deg CW or CCW is lossless. Only
non-multiples of 90deg will be lossless.
