I know we have been here before and its still got a lot of alternatives.
Backing up at the end of each day should be the standard procedure.
We tend to back up each job as soon as we write the final product to CD.
One copy goes on the archive hard drive on the main machine .A copy goes to another
computers archive drive which is switched on just for the job and a 3rd copy is dumped
onto a removable drive which is plugged in every week, updated ,removed and placed in a
safe.
Some time ago we experienced a fire in our server losing a couple of years worth of
work
which is why we now use multiple back ups .
If the place burns down I'm going to take the insurance money and run.
