Hello,

Wonder if anyone out there uses medium format digital backs made by imacon
or the "eyelike" made by Jenopic.

We've used the eyelike for nearly four years, now, and it is produces very nice files. The system has never had a down day or been in for any kind of repair or servicing. I can't say enough good things about this unit. The software is great and full-featured. All software upgrades have been free. They are great about listening to users and incorporating new features into the software.

Having said that, I've also tried the Imacon ixpress, and it, too is a great piece of equipment. The software is similar, and just as robust and full-featured. The addition of the preview screen on the back and the image bank that allows you complete freedom from a tethered cpu would slant me in the direction of the Imacon back for the use you indicated.

eyelike doesn't have either a preview screen or a data bank that I know of at this time.
