Simple maths tells me that 4x5cm equals 20 sq cm. 6x4.5 cm equals 27 square cm. Something tells me that when expressed as a percentage that the chip has a lot of growing up to do before it makes adulthood. I'm still unable to use my Hasselblad Superwide to its maximum potential with a digital back (excluding my scan back of course ). Its going to take a while but just as sure as dinosaurs died out so will film based cameras. There is no reason to have a film body when using digital capture. Overweight, cumbersome, noisy and with too many mechanical parts. Fancy using 1900 technology coupled to 2003 technology,a definite mismatch. Its a pity Nikon got in first with a digital SLR,the Rollie 3003 body would have made a far more suitable capture platform and could have taken a full frame Phillips chip long ago. Oh well better get the film out of the freezer for tomorrow work.
