OS9 formatted CDs, altho it's usually just the inabiity to see or access all the
files on the disk. Mounting the disk while in Classic mode should solve your
difficulties. An alternative is to simply stick the disk in a Windows XP
machine, which has no problem seeing all the files.
Thinking too hard about why OS9 CDs are more compatible
with Windows XP than with OSX is not
recommended.
