Just to throw a spanner in the works, I tried the "Dusty Mac" and after a re-boot it promptly wrote a selection of scans to CD without blinking, and sure enough there they are on my XP machine, no idea!

Hi Bob, Sorry to but in on this thread, but I have had difficulties with burning Hyrid CD's on a Mac (Toast5/OS9) in the past. It can cause crashes in OS9. I wouldn't recommend using it.
