I too bought an Iomega CDR USB2 which works fine on both PCs, but not on the Mac running System 9 using Iomega HotBurn.....The problem is that MacOS 9 recognises USB2 as being USB1 and then conflicts with the Iomega firmware. What you need is a CDR firewire drive - no problemo.

All is clear! I think I might keep the Iomega for the laptop and get a card reader for the Mac!
