Actually, they don't. They default to the ISO 9660 standard. Hybrid CD's are
very difficult to burn - er, on the PC, you cannot do it without specialist
software and/or a Mac formatted drive....just kidding, or am I?...<g>

I suspect it's what Win XP defaults to that cannot be read by other OS's.
Probably NTFS. I have very minimal experience of using Win XP so am just
guessing.
