My Mac sits in the corner because I bought an Iomega CDR USB2 which works fine on both PCs, but not on the Mac running System 9 using Iomega HotBurn. The machine doesn't see the drive until I re-boot the drive at least once, and then it will write probably half the selected files and lock the system up half way through. Might this be connected with the above? There do not seem to be any options in HotBurn to vary the format. Iomega do not respond.

Hi Bob, Sorry to but in on this thread, but I have had difficulties with burning Hyrid CD's on a Mac (Toast5/OS9) in the past. It can cause crashes in OS9. I wouldn't recommend using it.
