Hi all, Maybe being a bit green about this healing brush/16bit problem, but does the speed thing change if you first of all make a small selection around the area being worked on, therefore not forcing the whole of said 16bit mega image to be updated, redrawn, held in history cache etc etc.
sorry if the above is dim, not used the healing brush yet, but the above does work for various other local fixes!! i.e. make a small selection and just drag it about the image working on areas within it as you go.
