Dear Johnathon, May I suggest a few more options that you may think of.
Buy another internal driver the same as your big one. Then get a raid card from maplins and two caddies, so they are hot swapable and mirror raid them so you always have two copies of data. Then get a sata raid card with those two western digital drives and stripe them.
