Hello Inno A properly calibrated monitor and profiled colour managed workflow - works.
Everyone tells me my prints are fab - shucks.......actually, due to calibration and profiling, I have confidence in my visual perception of colour. Nothing fancy, just the basics from first principle. My monitor is precisely that, a monitor - quite a nice one (if somewhat ageing) and properly calibrated. Doesn't show all 16.4 million colours as no monitor can......so, I have a relationship between what I see on screen and what could be loosely described as 'The Numbers'. Meaning that what I cannot see on screen, and know is there, is revealed in my mind's eye - where the real work is done. My inkjet printouts verify this. Hey, I could talk about colour theory all day long! The difference is truly essential:) William Curwen http://www.william.ws =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
