Dunno if this is relevant, but, an internal drive will be connected by an 'IDE' connection. To use this externally would need an IDE cable to be routed outside the computer case. This would be a problem as (I think) IDE cables are at most 0.5 metre long. As far as I know, you cannot get an internal Firewire burner. Or am I missing something?
