Hi Mike,

If you use Photoshop CS you might want to go to
http://www.russellbrown.com/body.html and take a look at Dr. Brown's Image
Processor. Dr. Brown's Image Processor 2.0 is a FREE Java script utility
that can only be used with Adobe Photoshop CS. It is designed for
photographers and designers who need to process large numbers of images,
quickly and efficiently. I think it will allow you to save the same RAW
image in three different file formats at the same time in separate folders.
It will also allow you to set separate sizes for each format. The web site
has a video that shows how it works.

Subject: [PRODIG] PS Batch processing - file sorting

I think this question has been asked before but could not find in
archive so please forgive me if I am asking for a repeat.

I want to take create an action in Photoshop which takes a Raw file and
converts to TIFF, then adjusts image and Saves; then reopens the TIFF,
adjusts size and saves as a JPG in a folder separate from the TIFFs.

Its obviously no problem doing all the adjustments etc but I cannot
find a protocol for saving the TIFFs and JPGs in different folders.
It is boring then having to move 100 JPGS into another folder but I
just cannot find a way of getting PS to save the JPGs into a folder
separate from the TIFF.

Please - does anyone have a suggestion as to how to persuade PS to do
this final simple action which would really speed up the work flow.

Many thanks for any suggestions.

Mike Sheil
