Fair enough except that being a professional photographer implies a certain amount of intention for financial gain. Turning up for half a day with expensive kit then throwing away all potential stock sales seems odd. Then again, if they are employed or tied into some copyright grabbing contract then I could well understand supplying just enough and no more.
