Which is correct. My " Unless you build a profile on top of the data
extracted from camera raw..." was ironically meant - however I know at least
one punter who has done it and claim good results (provided you output to
the kodak space and in 16 bit ).

As I said unless you want to try this route it's Either camera Raw (which is
a raw processor) or a custom profile for the Raw file (processed through
Phase One C1 or Silverfast or another raw processor) or alternatively jpeg
file.
