Dear Shangara- I had similar problems and a short term solution is indeed to either soak the end of a i.e. bounty household tissue with glas cleaner and run it through your printer (as it was recommended to me a long time ago on this list) or what worked even better for me was just taking a 'normal' piece of paper and spray this one with windowlene or something similar and run it through. You should have a button on your printer that has a paper sometimes with a folded edge- push this one long enough and the paper should go through your printer. I said in the short term because I ended up buying a new printer as I was fed up with the fact that some prints had streaks on the back that I had to clean somehow- actually spit works best- just don't let your client know... It was a waste of paper and so I decided to buy a new printer. So far I am very happy with this decision. Hope this helps? Good luck Stefanie Kappel ARPS Photography & Digital Imaging
www.stefaniekappel.com >There was a tip about cleaning the rollers that I've forgotten. I think you soak a sheet in paraffin or someSuch and then feed it through. OK, maybe not paraffin, probably clear Windowlene or equivalent. How do you feed a sheet without printing it? Is there a button press sequence? I can probably find out the latter but am I right about the former?
