outright horse-trading -> chalaneo descarado
I believe chalaneo doesn't adjust with the context. And very weird too. How
about:
comercio descarado
tráfico descarado (as in drugs!)
descarado tráfico de influencias
I think this is more apropriate to what Karl is trying to say.
