"three different versions of the same stupid Office software" Sorry Rick but Microsoft Office does not work on my computer at all and Open Office works great. I - as a businessman - don't have time to investigate why. No one knows I am using Open Office. Please, download and install Open Office, create a spreadsheet and do a "Save As" and say "stupid".
