I don't get to break anyone's legs, all I do it try to get big accounts to go
with the agency.

So if I get a client that places $50,000 a month with an agency, his average
take would be 8.7% over 3 years. Of course some clients really work over the
accounts before they send them to collections, and some clients send them as
soon as they become delinquent, so the collection success varies greatly.

You need to really be a special person to actually do the collecting. Those
debtors are nasty! I would answer the phone at his place at night in case
someone was trying to reach me. I would tell the debtors that I was only the
computer guy and they would proceed to either give me a sob story or call me
every name in the book.
