When I run my credit reports (every 3 months when I perpetually re-file a fraud alert request with all bureaus) I see a lot of my former accounts from over 10 years ago on the listing. No problem as far as I am concerned as all is clean. But I bet a person has to demand to have anything over 6 or 7 years removed. I believe BK remains for 10 years.
