        Does anyone *ever* need to go back more than one message to get 
context? With bottom-posting, tons of crap that is no longer relevant is 
mindlessly repeated again and again, since it's "out of sight, out of mind". 
Before I added the code to trim messages at the first repeated footer, there 
were some where new content was about 1% of the total message size.
