I see I opened my mouth just wide enough to get my foot stuck... Brad et al are quite right, it is (or should be!) well defined and there's definitely a bug there. I confirmed this on one installation (win98, 99SEsp6). One additional note -- the bug occurs even when "remove dead copper" is not checked.
