When wanting a separator in names, I use the underscore '_'. Will that be a legal character in this proposal? I hope so.
So Abdul, is your name written: "Abdul-RahmanLomax" if upper and lower case is OK, but spaces are not. "ABDULRAHMANLOMAX" if only uppercase is OK, and non-alphanumerics are forbidden. "ABD_UL-RAHMAN_LOMAX" if underscores and hypens are OK. Of course, I hope no one is trying to put you on a PCB! ;-) Don't forget, spaces in filenames are supported in >= Win9X.
