Sounds like that you were not online when you tried to install LiVES. You need to be, because the packages are pulled from different servers. In your case the installation failed because the package manager could not download libgavl_1.2_amd64.deb from uk.archive.ubuntu.com. If you plug a network cable in your machine, you should get connected automatically. Hope that helps! a. > > The next 11 were the same except the gavl was replaced with : > plugins > libsox1a > libweed > mplayer > alsa > base > livesdata > omgtools > lives > > Any ideas? > > Thanks, Tim > On Fri, Feb 12, 2010 at 7:59 AM, Aymeric Mansoux <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Tim Gaddo said : > > > Maybe I need to re-asses wether I am running on the HD after booting > > from > > > DVD, or not.
