No problem!

You should probably find out why your texture department are renaming 
models, it's not something that is very commonplace.

Also you don't really need finished UVs to start rigging and animating. 
Once texture have finished the UVs update your rig with the latest mesh and 
the animators can update to the final reference rig and cache out the 
finished animation with the latest UVs.

Also Alembic has an option to write UVs to the cache file or not.
