I should clarify, I do not depend on ports, packages, or anything else
like that for mission critical applications.  About all I use the ports
for is to tell me where to find the most recent version of something.
Correction, I did get lazy the other day and used ports for wmcdplay,
but that wasn't on a mission critical machine anyway.
