In fact the tool chain is a lot easier in 0.8 than ever before (no need 
for Cygwin etc.). Just a plain Python installation which is 
pre-installed with some OSs already like Mac OS or Linux. I do not think 
that it is a problem at all for real users. For evaluation proposes even 
to have to execute one script is too much when it is possible without 
any execution or read through something. Just unzip and load in the 
browser is unbeatable. Most classical web developers could also live 
well with a HTML file were the script blocks can be easily commented out 
to omit their inclusion.

A precompiled modulized qooxdoo with component like scripts to include 
is IMHO the best offer we could make. Something like the old quickstart 
but with modules for some more complex GUI components. Should not be to 
complex to implement in a follow up version.
