Your experience should be a lesson for all. But its not always the fault of your DME. Especially when it comes to CMS payment. This is their protocol for doing repairs. Violate CMS policy and you soon find yourself outside... looking in. DME repairs is a good business, but if CMS changes its mind on coverage, the DME is often left holding the special order part.
