You can damage a battery if the drawdown is more then two volts. The controller on your electric wheelchair requires 24 volts of clean DC energy. Loss of power due to an unusual drain will also cause damage to your controller and charger. Battery chargers charge batteries not battery and you might get more recharge in just one of your two batteries. That is why DME will not install them. Liability.
