Unless you have an 840av. I have a 40GB hard disk now and will still
have a 9GB (10,000rpm) drive when it migrates to my PowerMac so 8.1 is
useful for something. After all I have to put all my AV stuff somewhere
while I record it. 7.6.1 would be my preference but HFS+ is critical for
volumes bigger than 3GB.
