Mine let rip on Monday, although mine is a different pedal box
(Zetec), I am sure the procedure is the same. It is literally a 5
minute job, but you do need double jointed upper torso and arms. You
don't need to take the pedal box off. Just get down, unhook it at
both ends (head first into the footwell!!!!!). Pull the pedal all the
way back up to release the quadrant ratchet. Thread the new cable
through, hook up to the pedal first, then the clutch lever arm. Press
the pedal a few times and you're away. Bought mine from motor factors
for about £12. Good luck.
