In case you run out of luck Gunson used to sell a gadget which was a special spark plug with a transparent bowl which enabled you to see the colour of the burning air fuel charge. A bit like adjusting a basic bunsen burner in a lab it had a colour chart so that you could judge the effect of your adjustments to the mixture visually. I don't know if it is still available or if they had one that fits Fiesta size spark plug holes and threads
