That all depends on how the MOT computer decides the emissions should be tested on your car and what reg the car is. Was it SVA'd and is it a Q plate ?
My B reg 2+2 has had all the variations over the years from no visible smoke to some figure of CO Last year the CO was measured, this year it wasn't ! As it's all hooked into the MOT computer the garage can't override it. It's a while since i looked at it but from memory if it's pre SVA then it's the age of the engine or the age of the car (number plate age) whichever is older. If it was SVA'd then it's done on the engine which strictly speaking means it will need the CAT to pass. The engine will run without a MAF though so it's not a major problem. It may also have a actuator on the throttle cable to pull the throttle back but i think thats only models that have cruise control. There is a similar system on some of the Mk4/5 Fiestas and Puma's but you would have to fit the complete ABS system with sensors on all 4 wheels to make it work. Not all models with ABS have the traction control. The rest has been somewhat delayed due to a house purchase but should be on it soon. Have you got the injectors from the plastic manifold ?, those are the ones for the 115ps engine.
