I put one radio on an ethernet cable several days ago and all has been
fine with it (running MSB.com)

In a possibly related front, my wife got so sick of having connectivity
problems on a Zoom meeting she hosts that she got Verizon on the phone,
did some tests, and was convinced that we should rent a new, updated,
uprated larger with better antennas.........for only an additional
$15/month for life. And executed.

She's happy now.

Then we took our 2012 iMac to the Apple Store for coaching and
diagnostic session. They took the computer in the back room and ran some
diagnostics on it. It came back with like, 8 categories of inspection
displayed on the screen in green-red-or yellow.
Hard drive was the only not green, with yellow letters as in failing(?).
Apple no longer provides this drives. The fact that Michael has said
that my OS is one of my problems put in the end zone when the tech
responded that this iMac cannot be updated.
I really wonder about the hard drive (NLA) and integrity? (not the hard
drive. Why did I feel like I was at a used car lot?)

So we ended up ordering their biggest laptop as the new iMac won't fit
under our cabinets. But, supply issues, 3-4 weeks delivery time.

The new Verizon router certainly is imposing and seems to work well.
Julie hasn't had any problems at the fairly distant location she does
her Zoom meetings.
That freed-up the repeater we'd put at the half mile post.
I paired it with the new router and took it to the garage workshop and
hooked up that radio on an ethernet jumper from the repeater: WiN!

I continue to run two radios here by the iMac and new router.
Router doesn't seem to have changed anything on WIFI/SBR network.
Favorites missing was MSB.com not available and Phil had no password.
(parenthetically, I still haven't managed to get a new PW for LMS, [or
UEMusic Library] UE shows one radio but no PW/no info. LMS I'd really
like to get)

So I'm going to just wait until the new computer arrives and gets
running and then the slate will be pretty clean if there's still trouble
here.
If there's no trouble then I will revisit getting Spotty up and running;
if there is trouble, I don't know what I'll do but you will be the first
to know! (well, maybe Julie will have an early clue when she sees black
bakelite inboxed low earth orbit!)

As always, thanks for all you're doing, you guys are the best! :)
