Victor - discipline code is very nicely done. Though we have a formal Code of Conduct, we have never had a formal code for discipline. we have had an informal discipline code, but we have never codified it and printed it. If it is OK with you and/or the others, I would like to copy and use it. I would also like to publish it as part of our parent information packet.
Once on a bus trip, I had a Buckaroo ask me to stop the bus so he could go to the bathroom. We had just told everyone to go before loading up, so I told him to wait until we got home. Much to my shame and mortification, he couldn't hold it until we got home. From that point on, I have been a LOT more flexible with bathroom trips. Regardless of when they were last told to go. Regardless of the inconvenience to the rest of us. Inconvenience is nothing compared to the potential damage to the child. During meeting times, if I have doubts about the situation, I send a guide or the senior guide with the boy. ============================================================ Kenneth Komoto mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pioneer Commander Outpost 193 Phone: (530)752-7197 Southpointe Christian Center Fax : (530)752-0329 Sacramento, Ca 95828 _______ To unsubscribe, send "unsubscribe rangernet" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or visit http://rangernet.org/subscribe.htm http://rangernet.org Autoresponder: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
