Ken
> Victor - discipline code is very nicely done.
The good thing about it, it works. Sometimes just mentioning the fact if the boy
persists in his rebellion, he'll have a "date" with Commander Robinson (our Snr Cmd).
Although, I must admit the eight boys we have in Pioneers are generally well behaved.
They do have the moments, but a gentle correction soon has them back on track.
One of the best weapons we have against bad behaviour is Peer pressure. We try to
use the guide first the correct the behaviour by getting him to tell the boy to behave.
If he doesn't then we step in and follow the discipline code set down.
The important thing is "Once forgiven always forgotten."

The best way to combat bad behaviour is to use the partol system. We have been
actively using it now for some time and it works. A good example was on Suday at the
State Camp, the boys were given the choice, go to the events as a group or in a
straight line like they had been doing. They chose the straight line. They are a
patrol.
