In some ways, I agree with you. The Labour Party (ALP) is more concerned with the
workers and improving their conditions. They are ones who bring in most of the social
reforms while the Liberals do a lot to help the rich get richer. John Howard (our PM)
will
not say sorry to our Aborginal people for a policy brought in by a previuos Liberal
governemt that took Aborginal children from their parents. They have also slashed the
money their give to CHild Care centres that working mothers use so they can work.
This has forced many to give up work because they could not afford the $200 per week
for Child Care. Most of them were earning around $300 per week.

All brought in by the ALP. We had a case here at the beginning of the year where John
Howard's brother Stan sacked all his workers and closed up his factory owing them
over 11 milliondollars in redunance pay. Stan got to keep all the money he made and
his nice house and cars. While some of the workers nearly lost theirs. There was just
a public out cry that the government (by the way of a grant) had to give the money
owed to the workers.

We have a few Lexis cars and one or two old Mercs in our Church parking lot, but for
the most part it's mainly the average type car like Fords. We also use PowerPiont
(without a decending screen) at Hawkesbury (I know, I'm one of the operators). We
use it for the songs mostly or to give a report on our new building (we've outgrown
our
old one). I have been in Churches like your old one and I felt like crying out "You
hypocrites, you talk of helping others and that's all you do." Them churches are dead.

Nar, ya missed. I a round about way I do agree with with you, it's just I live here
and I
see things happen that other Countries don't. It's the same for the USA. I could make
similar type comments about the USA, but it would be based on limited experence.
One thing I do know is that for the most part the people of our two Nations are a lot
like.
