Even the toughest soldiers get wounded in battle... they must step back from
the lines... someone else must carry the 'standard' into battle while they
recouperate...

Truth is that this type of pharisaical arrogance is what leads to criticizms
like ... "The Christian Army is the only ones who shoot their own wounded"..

This wasn't the main thrust of your message but I thought I'd insert a
comment here.  I believe that if you are truly called by God, led by God,
ministered to by the Holy Spirit, and constantly in God's will then you
CAN'T burn out.  I think it was Victor (remember him?) who said that
passionate people don't get burned out - I agree with that.  We may get
"tired" but I tend to believe that "burnout" is more of an excuse than a
reality.
